Firm will provide the following services on all network-connected printers at a minimum: 1. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) a minimum of two (2) cleanings according to industry standards a year. 2. Service printers and repair or replace parts as needed. 3. Quick response guarantee – same or next day delivery of supplies and requests for service. 4. Dispatch certified printer technicians as needed to install, maintain, repair or remove printers. The repair will include troubleshooting problems and provide recommendations. 5. Provide toner and must either be OEM, or comparable to OEM. Toner cartridges shall meet remanufactured requirements pursuant to Public Contract Code section 12156 (e). The toner must have a guarantee and the vendor will correct, without charge, any damage caused to the printer. The vendor shall replace, without charge, any toner cartridge that fails to provide acceptable print quality or fails to meet published OEM specifications. 6. The Firm will provide a system for managing printer assets and ensure it is updated as printers are added, removed, or replaced. 7. The Firm shall either use the existing City’s printer names, or provide their own and affix a label to each printer covered by the Service. The Firm shall provide a list of maintained printers within 30 days of the start of the Service. This list will incorporate the City’s printer names. 8. Vendor will provide device-monitoring software to order toner at a minimum 20% threshold, collet meter reads, and monthly reports distribution. 9. The Firm must leave all work areas as clean as when they arrived.
