● Development and Implementation of AI Training Programs: This includes working with the USBE AI specialist and hourly contract support to design introductory training, hands-on workshops, virtual training, and a Canvas workshop focused on prompt engineering, data privacy, and best practices for AI implementation in education. These programs will be offered both in-person and virtually. ● External Evaluation: The project involves engaging an external evaluator to assess the initiative's effectiveness. This includes the procurement and collaboration with the evaluator on data collection and review. ● Facilitator Recruitment, Training, and Support: A crucial aspect is working with the USBE AI Specialist to recruit and train facilitators across the state to deliver the training programs. This involves developing hiring guidelines, providing training, and establishing a feedback process. ● Strategic Collaboration: The project emphasizes collaborating with state, local educational agencies (LEAs), and conference partners for training implementation. This involves securing locations and presenting at conferences. ● Data Analysis and Future Planning: The scope includes reviewing data from the external evaluator and grant recipients to inform future plans and initiatives. ● Project Management: The program director will oversee all project aspects, including collaborating with the USBE AI Specialist, managing advertising, coordinating with the external evaluator, and overseeing facilitator activities.
