New Orleans Regional Transit Authority seeks services for streetcar track geometry testing, including track strength, and rail profile. This project requires thirty-four (34) miles of track to be tested providing vertical wear, gauge face wear, and percentage of head loss. Testing results must be delivered electronically, and all work must be completed during the hours of 2200-0700. Technical Specifications: Provide geometry data including gauge, curvature, cross-level, surface align; Leveling and Slewing Machine Model LNR529 • Track Guage: 62 – ½ • Petrol Engine Honda GX270 • Sel-Propelled and with remote control with 2 rail hydraulic clamps, 2 lifting rams and 1 slewing ram • Lifting power 15T • With sight boards; The selected contractor must provide a warranty on equipment, and the instruction/owner’s manual, parts list, and 40-hour on-site training.
