Please submit information to provide bond insurance coverage, comparable to the Federal Bonding Program established by the United States Department of Labor, for employers who hire sentenced individuals directly upon release from a Massachusetts Department of Correction Facility or custody. The bonds will be available in a range of values. MA DOC is looking to provide fidelity bonding for the first six to twelve months of employment for hard-to-place job applicants. The idea is to give employers peace of mind by bonding job candidates considered to be higher risk. The MA DOC is looking for creative responses from any vendors or companies that can fill this need. Successful responses will evidence a commitment to community and dedication to fairness for all individuals including justice involved people.
