Attorneys shall provide legal representation in the Douglas County District Court and in committing magistrate matters for Douglas County District Court. The representation includes all criminal and contempt proceedings, District Court makes an appointment based upon applicable statutes, case law, or court rules providing for courtappointed counsel. Services by the Attorneys shall include legal representation at all stages of the proceedings subsequent to appointment, continuing up to and through the filing of a Notice of Appeal from any final, appealable order or judgment of the District Court. Services shall include attendance at initial appearance calendars and the regular, weekly arraignment calendar to assist indigent defendants requesting representation and to facilitate speed resolution of cases.
