The University of Minnesota is a public, land-grant university founded in 1851. Today, the University consists of five campuses: Crookston, Duluth, Morris, Rochester, and Twin Cities. The University employs 4,650 faculty and approximately 22,000 staff members. University of Minnesota (UMN) audiences currently have the potential to receive email communications from a large variety of units across the University system. There is no comprehensive, central way to track all of the content that is created, or to know which audience members receive which content. Because of this, audience members may be contacted at a high volume and frequency, which can lead to the perception of disorganization within the University, and/or a feeling of being “spammed” by University communications. In partnership with units across the UMN System, the University of Minnesota Foundation (UMF), University Relations (UR) and the Office of Information Technology (OIT), wish to create / build a digital content engine that is the source of truth for all University marketing efforts. This system should provide the ability to disseminate marketing content
