The selected firm shall provide comprehensive recruitment services that include, but are not limited to, the following: a) Meet and work with the Mayor and City Council to develop characteristics and attributes of the successful candidate, selection criteria and recruitment process. b) Develop a customized recruitment strategy and timeline. c) Develop and administer a nation-wide recruitment outreach and advertising for suitable applicants. d) Candidate sourcing, screening and assessment. e) Coordination of interview panels, candidate interviews and related logistics. f) Background checks, reference verifications and due diligence. g) Negotiation assistance in securing a contract with the selected City Manager candidate. h) Regular progress reporting to the City Council and city staff.
