a) Equipment: MassARRAY Analyzer 4 + Chip Prep Module 96 by Agena Bioscience. b) Equipment Function: The purpose of the Agena instrument is exclusively to evaluate moderate multiplexes of SNP assays (up to 25 SNPs simultaneously). c) Service Description: Preventive maintenance and repair services to ensure instrument functioning and calibration and provide necessary software updates for the operating system. Contractor shall ensure that the results produced from the instrument are reliable and reproducible in accordance with applicable protocols and industry best practices. The annual preventive maintenance service agreement shall include labor, travel, and certified and/or optimized replacement parts for the MassARRAY Analyzer 4 + Chip Prep Module 96 and computers specified for their operation. Contractor shall check and update software as needed. Contractor shall make physical repairs as needed to ensure the continued performance of the laboratory equipment. d) Replacement Parts: Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts only.
