Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.2 Removal and disposal (off site) of current backstop and safety fencing and all related debris. 3.1.3 Installation of new backstop and safety fencing along baselines to be in the same location as the current backstop and fencing. 3.1.4 All posts (backstop and safety fencing) to be set in concrete. 3.1.5 Replace one 20′x20′x20′ baseball backstop with roof. All terminal posts to be 4″ OD, line posts 3″ OD set in concrete spaced approximately 10′ apart with 1 5/8″ OD top, middle and bottom rails. An extra 1 5/8″ OD rail to be installed 2′ above bottom rail on 20′ back portion of backstop. Roof will range from 10′-16′ in height. Lower 10′ will be 6 gauge wire. Roof will have two 1′ tress supports and all framework will be 1 5/8″ OD. All mesh for roof will be 9 gauge. All posts and mesh will be black vinyl coated galvanized steel.
