The Hutchinson Fire Department is accepting bid to refurbish a 1991 M925A2 (5 Ton 6X6 Military) brush truck. The refurbishment shall consist of a new pump and plumbing, two compartment one on the officer side and one on the driver side. Two ditch sweep nozzles that are located in the front bumper one on the officer’s side and the other on the driver’s side. A consul or a mounting plate in the dash that will need to be fabricated for the pump controls in the cab of the 6X6. Two Whelen Summit light bars. All that has been stated will need to be installed by the dealer that wins the bid. Due to the complexity of this build the Hutchinson Fire Department is asking for any Warranty service to be within one hour and thirty minutes of Hutchinson Kansas. Specification: Pump: The pump shall be a Darley STD ASSY 2-1/2 ACE 48K Pump. • Darley STD ASSY 2-1/2 ACE 48K • Diesel fuel line shall run from the pump motor to the diesel tank of the 6X6 truck. Plumbing: The installer of the pump will remove old pumping and install new plumbing. • The tank to pump plumbing shall be stainless piping. • The plumbing off the pump shall be stacked valves that run Horizontal not vertical due to height. • There will need to be a total of 9 stacked valves. 3 valves that have 1-1/2 NH hose thread, 3 valves that will have the electric KZ valves plumped to them. 1 Cross through valve, 1 Booster reel valve, 1 recirculating valve...
