A. Services shall include, but are not limited to: 1) Visual inspections 2) Extension ladder hardware test 3) Roof hook test, 4) Horizontal bending test, 5) Heat sensor test 6) Any other test required or recommended by the manufacturer and/or the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1932 Standard on use, maintenance, and service testing of in-service fire department ground ladders for approximately 2,500 linear feet of ladder. B. Repairs and replacements shall include, but are not limited to: 1) Rung replacement 2) Roof hook replacement 3) Halyard installation 4) Heat sensor label placement or replacement on an as-needed basis. C. Contractor shall provide annual inspection, testing, maintenance, and repairs, within twelve (12) months of prior service, each year to all fire service ladders in need of testing that falls under NFPA 1932 testing standards. D. Contractor shall have trained technicians visually inspect all ladders and perform all testing, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the NFPA 1932 Standards. E. Contractor shall provide annual and as-needed basis ladder inspection, testing, maintenance and repair services which shall include, but is not limited to: 1) Annual inspection and testing. 2) Visual inspections. 3) Extension ladder hardware test. 4) Roof hook test. (Contractor shall complete the roof ladder test even if the hook fails the test.) 5) Horizontal bending test. 6) Heat sensor test. 7) Any other test(s) required or recommended by the manufacturer and/or NFPA 1932 Standards...
