Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas is soliciting for a company to provide all labor, equipment and material to perform Annual Grease Trap Cleaning and Disposal Services. • Respondent(s) shall furnish a non-hazardous waste manifest to the University and the City of Beaumont per the State of Texas law or any other applicable regulation for Grease Trap Pumping. • Respondent(s) shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations, ordinances and codes and obtain any licenses or permits required to provide the services under this RFP. • Respondent(s) shall be licensed as required by the jurisdiction in which the service is to be performed, and the license shall be current and in good standing. • Respondent(s) shall only utilize licensed, trained and experienced employees to perform the work required on University properties. • Respondent(s) shall practice acceptable safety precautions so as not to cause harm to any persons or property while performing services under this RFP or any resulting contract. ▪ Respondent(s) shall follow industry safety standards and use only industry approved safety equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications in the performance of all duties. • Respondent(s) shall maintain vehicles that are used to respond to calls for service. • Respondent(s) shall make every effort to reduce any inconvenience to the residents on University properties. • Respondent(s) must provide 48-hour advance notice before arrival on campus to service traps. • There are no established hours the Respondent(s) must provide the service. However, the Respondent(s) must inform University of the time and date the services will be performed. • In the event of emergency conditions, Respondent(s) must be able to start cleaning within eight hours of notification.
