The selected Offeror shall serve as a consultant to work during a one-year contract to do the following: 1. Attend mandatory training for each monitoring to be completed. 2. Utilize MSDE developed rubrics and elevate, Maryland’s Performance System to monitor: a) The IEPs for students with disabilities in the local school systems and state-operated programs. Collect data from IEP reviews and document the results to determine if procedures are consistent with State guidance. b) Compliance and data-driven decision-making regarding meeting eligibility criteria for participation in the Alternate Framework Alternate; and c) Specially designed instruction in reading, math, and written language. 3. Document trends, summarize data, and provide initial analysis to support technical assistance and training pertaining to the Maryland general and alternate assessments and IEP Specially Designed Instruction. 1. Use technical resources in the collection and analysis of data; and 2.
