The intent of this specification is to describe a 22,000 # GVWR tilt bed trailer. The trailer shall be capable of transporting an S86 or T86 Bobcat skid steer loader with attachments and have payload capacity of at least 16,000 lbs. The trailer shall be Federal DOT certified. The trailer shall be standard production of the latest model with standard accessories and in addition meet or exceed the following minimum specifications: 1. Axles a. Single wheel, Tandem 10,000 pound per axle minimum. b. Rubber torsion suspension. c. Oil bath wheel hub bearings. 2. Wheels and Tires a. 17.5”, 8-hole painted steel wheel with sufficient sized tire that meets or exceeds the load rating of the trailer minimum of load range H 16 ply b. Same size and spec spare tire and wheel as axle mounted. 3. Brakes a. All axles; electric brakes, self-adjusting. b.
