The Saint Louis Zoo is seeking proposals for the creation of a 3D site model of the Destination Discovery project currently under construction. The model will be displayed to the public in a covered outdoor kiosk. Model specifications are as follows: • 1" = 20'-0" scale model • 3D printed buildings and elevated walkway using selective Laser Sintering SLS equipment • Include Destination Discovery structures plus existing Living World (north entry) building • Site topo to be constructed of 20lb milled urethane, with site features painted with UV protective paint • Custom scale trees • Include Clear Polyurethane coated red oak frame for the 28" x 37.5" model. Provide fitted, removable 3/8" thick acrylic protective cover with at least 2" clearance over the highest point of the model • Three-year warranty including integrity of the structures and paint fading • Delivery in 7 weeks post contract execution
