• Provide a suitable canine which has successfully completed a 10- week basic detector dog course and patrol course. • Provide veterinarian examination, inoculations, and x-rays of both hips and elbows. • Provide documentation, veterinarian records, training records etc. • Training course, meeting United States Police Canine Association standards. • Ten weeks of hands-on instruction, with handler the Police Department has chosen. • Monthly retraining and documentation for the handler and canine, minimum of eight hours per month. • If problems occur during the month, additional training will occur to correct problems. • Vendor warranties that K9 will successfully complete the training, or a replacement dog will be provided by the company. The Vendor will replace K9 at their cost. A guarantee of graduation from training by the K9 is required. • Price good for 1 year, with a possible one-year extension up to 3 years for annual training.
