1.1. Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (“eRFQ”) is being issued to establish a one-time purchase with a qualified supplier who will provide an automatic transmission and installation to Central Georgia Technical College (hereinafter, “the State Entity”) as further described in this eRFQ. Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Commercial Truck Driving Program is seeking a one-time purchase with an authorized supplier that can provide a new automatic transmission and modify/retrofit a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia Truck. The current manual transmission must be removed prior to installing the automatic transmission. Please review the e-RFQ instruction document and the bid specifications within the attachment section of the Team Georgia Marketplace (TGM) Bid Event for more information.
