Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.Medicat's cloud-based portal allows students and authorized medical personnel to access medical data when seeking and providing healthcare services on weekdays between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Student Health Services works directly with MUSC and local specialists to provide students with needed healthcare services that are not within their scope, like X-rays, pharmacy services, after-hours or weekend care, hospitalization, emergency room care, some immunizations, and some physicals. The Medicat solution is configured for the secure transmission of student medical records to various authorized providers when referrals are needed for extended healthcare. Additionally, SHS, along with several IT departments, have integrated the Medicat solution into our local environment for students to easily find and access needed health services.
