The selected vendor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Conservation services for cultural heritage materials with permanent retention value 2. Preservation digitization services for cultural heritage materials with permanent retention value DCR seeks a preservation specialist to clean, repair and digitize several engineering drawings created by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). The vendor selected will be responsible for the tasks listed below. 1. Treatment and digital preservation proposal: The vendor will create a treatment and digital preservation proposal for review by DCR. 2. Conservation: Remove previous repairs made with pressure sensitive tape, humidify, surface clean, mend tears or reintegrate loose fragments. 3. Storage: Provide or recommend archival supplies for boxed storage. 4. Conservation Report: Vendor will provide written and photographic documentation of the conservation work performed.
