III. SCOPE OF WORK/SPECIFICATIONS Horry-Georgetown Technical College is in the process of remodeling an existing 14,400 sf building located on our Myrtle Beach campus. After renovations the space will be used for Nursing and EMT programs. The expected completion date for this project is anticipated for April 2025. Our goal is to have the new ambulance simulator installed prior to completion as installation will be coordinated with the contractor. A. Ambulance Simulator Requires Specifications: a. Provide students a simulation scenario-based training equipment that mimics the process of emergency transport via ambulance without being on the road. b. Must precisely replicate in detail the “box” or back end of an ambulance. Including back door and bumper. c. Box must be built of a durable material to withstand the needs of an instructional environment. d. Elevated to a height like that of a real ambulance. e. Include basics typically found in an ambulance such as: ALS/BLS basic shelving, oxygen hook ups, CPR Seat with Seatbelt, Attendant Airway Seat with Seatbelt, Squad Bench with Seatbelt and Inside Storage Action control Station Area LED Interior Lighting Oxygen Outlet and Flowmeter Air Compressor for Oxygen Outlets Suction Canisters Vacuum Pump for Suction Storage bids Place for Disposable Sharps Container in Patient compartment Electronic Locking Narcotics Cabinet Overhead IV Hangers Cot Mount floor Antlers & Bar Exterior Emergency Lights Exterior Code Lights (Red, Yellow, Green) Pre-Engineered Truss System Commercial Grade Flooring, Exterior Diamond Plate Bumper Flip-Up Rear Bumper Step f. Also include: powered stretcher g. All Monitors and camera systems for use in training and simulation h. Until will be mounted to floor, not mobile i.
