• The Contractor will be responsible for removing snow fall of one (1) inch or more. For each snow fall event, the Contractor shall apply salt as needed to prevent icy conditions from occurring in the lots. The Contractor may propose pre-treatment of the lots and roadways as an alternate. Primary snow removal hours will be between the hours of 10:30 pm and 6:30 am the following day. However, the Contractor may be called in during the day if needed to respond to a heavy snow fall event. In the event of a daytime call out, same day service is required. • The College may direct the contractor to apply salt at times other than snow events if icy lot conditions occur. • Snow fall shall be removed from the parking lots, College roads and entrances in the order designated by the College’s Director of Facilities or designated representative. Contractor will be responsible for communicating this order to Contractors response team. The general priority will be: o Roadways and entrances of the main campus and employee parking o Parking lots 1, 2 and 3, including all handicap parking areas (lot 4 plowing will be at the discretion of the Director of Facilities and will be compensated for as extra work labor and materials) o PWT
