We are seeking proposals from qualified construction firms for the design, engineering, and construction of a new fishing pier at the Volunteer Center. The pier will provide safe, accessible, and durable access for recreational fishing while withstanding the environmental challenges posed by a marine location. Please see exhibit A for site pictures, original fishing pier, and brief general description of the desired fishing pier. The selected firm will be responsible for providing comprehensive services, including engineered drawings stamped by a licensed engineer, obtaining all necessary permits, and managing the construction process. Proposals will be evaluated based on a matrix that includes the overall design, cost, timeline, warranties, and a detailed logistics plan for mobilization and material management.
