Design, build, and install a K-9 Memorial at the Public Safety Services Headquarters located at 1345 Shenandoah Lane, Plymouth, MN 55447 meeting the following requirements: Two bronze sculptures: 1) full-size German Shepard w/collar & badge, and 2) full-size Labrador Retriever w/collar & badge (see below for dimensions). Base to be built using black Mesabi granite (see below for dimensions). Proposal should include a preliminary artist’s rendering of the proposed sculptures. The memorial should be installed no later than February 28, 2025. Proposers should have a local presence in order to visit the site and make repairs on an as needed basis as well as update names that will go on the monument. Repairs must be started and additional names added within three business days of request by County. Travel will not be reimbursed for repairs or adding names. All design rights of the memorial will belong to HCSO. The K-9 Memorial will have lights to illuminate the dogs at night. The lights will be provided and installed by a HCSO contractor. The selected K-9 memorial vendor will be responsible for providing the holes through the granite top for the HCSO contractor to install the lights.
