Canal Tree Maintenance includes the following scope of work: Provide experienced tree climbers trained in the safety protocols and emergency response in tree removal of hazardous trees. Utilize modern equipment including cranes, bucket equipment, ropes, and rigging equipment specifically designed for hazardous tree removal. Remove trees in a safe and systematic manner. Ensure minimal impact to surrounding structures. Utilize sectional felling and rigging techniques to carefully lower tree parts to the ground. Provide skilled climbers to reach and access high or precarious tree sections, ensuring safety through harnessing and climbing techniques. Previous City projects have required the following maintenance: Remove dead or leaning trees adjacent to residential properties. Climb and remove trees submerged in or over water bodies to prevent hazards to nearby facilities. Takedown trees in a successful manner to mitigate risk and structural damage to buildings. Debris cleanup: Remove all tree debris. Provide thorough site cleanup post-project, as agreed upon by City staff. Tree Removal Consultation: Assess the area and advise on any future tree removals. Provide tree health assessment and offer various maintenance options. Emergency Mobilization: Provide priority service to the City in case of a widespread weather event. Respond to emergency requests to City staff within two (2) hours.
