The Minneapolis Health Department Organizational and Community Development Consulting Contracts establishes an RFP to select multiple individuals and organizations for MHD organizational and community development needs, delivering services, training and facilitation on a variety of topics related to: workplace and employee wellbeing, race and health equity, trauma responsiveness, health literacy, foundational public health services, public heath core concepts and more, on an as needed basis, as well as administer the content and curriculum of the Public Health Community Institute - PHCI. The variety of Organizational and Community Development Consulting proposals will allow the department to select individuals and organizations for department development needs, the department’s PHCI needs and other projects on an as-needed basis. The initial Organizational and Community Development Consulting contracts will run from January 2025 to December 31, 2025, but may be extended annually for an additional 2 years. Depending on funding category, eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, neighborhood organizations, cultural organizations, businesses, places of worship/faith organizations, individuals, and other applicants.
