Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The manufacturer, LG will not sell parts to anyone in the Salt Lake valley except their authorized manufacturer representative, who is MHI Service. The current vendor we use to repair the LG systems, American Chiller Mechanical Service (Johnson Controls), has often struggled getting us the parts quickly, and they have to pass the mark up on those parts to us. We have used American Chiller because they are on a state contract and not limited by the small cost purchase limit. However, since being bought out by Johnson Controls, we have noticed their level of service declining and they are having difficulties getting the parts needed to make any repairs on the LG systems in a timely manner. We would like to start using MHI Service to speed up the repair time, save on markup and obtain a higher level of service.
