The round or flat nose trailer shall be totally enclosed and allow the mounting of equipment, with a minimum payload capacity of 4,725 lbs. The unit shall have side flow thru vents on each side of trailer, and a 24-inch-tall aluminum stone guard on outside front of trailer.; Trailer size shall be 7’ X 16’ feet, minimum 4’ foot tongue length, maximum 102 inches over-all wide, interior height shall be a minimum of 75 inches.; Trailer shall be equipped with a pintle eye with the dimensions of 3” I.D. eye with a 1 5/8” section drawbar and have the capability of vertical adjustment of 18” to 25” measured from ground level (see below for an example of the adjustment). The tongue frame shall extend a minimum of 4 feet into the bottom of the frame of the chassis (i.e., not welded only to the front floor crossmember).; Platform height shall be a maximum of 19 inches.; Trailer shall have rear doors, with a minimum opening of 72” wide by 75” high with latches to hold doors fully open against the sides of the trailer.
