The Contractor shall have in place a process to assess the qualifications and competencies of nursing staff proposed to work under the Contract. This process must include documentation of medical exams and testing. The Contractor shall have in place ongoing, in-service training, education, and educational processes to maintain and improve the competence of its employees. See Contract Training Requirement in section 7. a. The Contractor shall provide licensed LPN’s with at least one (1) year of providing hemodialysis treatment and care for those who are employees of the Contractor and can fulfill the requirements listed herein. The Contractor shall attempt to replace any absent nursing staff within one (1) hour of call out or no show.
