2. Minimum Requirements a. The Contractor shall provide RN staff with a minimum of one (1) year of providing hemodialysis services to ESRD patients. b. The Contractor shall assign to duty only those employees acceptable to the Center as determined by the Contract Monitor or designee. c. The Bidder must provide proof with its Bid that the following Minimum Qualifications have been met each: i. The Bidder shall have two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years providing temporary nursing services addressed in this solicitation in other health care settings which may provide acute, long term or chronic care services to clients. As proof of meeting this requirement, the Bidder shall provide with its Bid three (3) references from the past five years with a minimum of two (2) years of service with each reference, able to attest to the Bidder’s experience in providing these services. ii. The Bidder shall be certified by the Maryland Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ). As proof of meeting this requirement, the Bidder shall provide with its Bid a current certificate issued by OHCQ evidencing the Bidder’s certification as a Hospital Nursing Staff Agency. iii. Each assigned nursing staff person must have a minimum of one (1) year of Hemodialysis nursing experience. iv. The Contractor shall have a process for providing RNs to provide Dialysis care and treatment; nurses with necessary training or for determining when previous training is equivalent in content and length with the Contractor’s requirements and obligations under the Contract, as well as with applicable law and regulations. This process shall also include the nurse’s demonstration of proficiency in the subjects taught.
