Shawnee County Parks and Recreation (SCP+R) is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase and installation of an unattended elevated net play system (Aerial Adventure Trail) consisting of 8 towers (steel columns) and 9 connecting elements with interior play features (Reference Exhibits 1-4 attached). The elements provided shall be made of materials suitable for unattended net play and have a secondary fall system of steel core rope. Additional entry and exit features (climbers, tube slides, etc.) will be required per Exhibit 1. This procurement shall include all design efforts (including concrete footings), towers, elements, and play feature materials, fabrication, testing, shipping, site storage, site installation, site safety, system safety testing, applicable industry safety certifications, and warranty other than the placement of the concrete for the tower footings. Placement of concrete footings shall be by others based on shop drawings and materials requirements provided by the manufacturer as approved and coordinated by SCP+R.
