Purpose/Scope of Purchase: LSU Wetland Biogeochemistry Analytical Services located in the College of the Coast and Environment (WBAS) requires a three-channel segmented flow auto-analyzer for the purpose of determining nutrient concentrations in low level seawater samples. **These specifications are NOT for discrete and continuous flow analyzers.** Must include the following specifications: 1. 3- Channel segmented flow auto-analyzer for use in nutrient analysis of low level Nitrate, Ammonia, and phosphate in freshwater, seawater and porewaters. 2. Chemistry methods for determining nitrate, phosphate, and ammonia in low level seawater. 3. Fully computer controlled unattended startup and shutdown. 4. Random Access Sampler with 5 ml sample cups and a minimum of 180 sample positions. 5. Computer with Windows 11 software, flat panel monitor and a laser printer. 6. Single chemistry module fitting all 3 channels (for space limitations). 7. Peristaltic pumps with Digital air injector and automatic platen release. 8. Three separate chemistry manifolds for analyzing low level nutrients in seawater. 9. One LED wavelength detector per channel. 10.Single channel high resolution digital colorimeters per channel. 11.Computer controlled temperature of chemistry manifolds and peristaltic pumps. 12.Computer controlled valve to automatically close cadmium coil valve after run is complete. 13.Computer controlled switching valves for automatic start-up and shutdown. 14.Ammonia Chemistry in water and seawater by gas diffusion method. 15.Must provide at least three (3) days of on-site training and installation. 16.User manual for hardware and software with a backup copy of the software.
