The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) is seeking proposals from qualified entities to develop a strategic communications and messaging approach for the Lake Tahoe Environmental Improvement Program (EIP). The recent passage of the Lake Tahoe Restoration Act by Congress has recaptured national and statewide attention on the critical work needed to continue to protect the Lake Tahoe Region. It is vital for the EIP partnership to tell a clear and cohesive story about the program’s goals, accomplishments, plans, and priorities that not only informs, but galvanizes public engagement. Expanding awareness and fostering public support are more important than ever, as the program depends on collaborative participation from many partners and communities. To achieve this, TRPA and partners must leverage modern communication tools and channels to ensure the EIP message resonates across audiences and drives meaningful participation in safeguarding Lake Tahoe’s future.
