The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) is issuing this Request for Sealed Proposals (RFSP) to award one contract that will cover the annual fiscal grant monitoring of state and federal programs provided to Chicago Public Schools during the state fiscal years 2025 - 2029. ISBE is required to monitor claims for state and federal monies relative to the public school system of Illinois on a sample basis using a risk-based selection process. This requirement is derived from the Illinois School Code (105 ILCS 5/2-3.32), the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (30 ILCS 708), and Title 2 Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, commonly referred to as the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200). This contract will cover the annual monitoring of state and federal grants provided to CPS during the state fiscal years 2025 - 2029.
