A. Provide onsite services for 24 hours (3 days) per week. B. Serve as the Village Engineer; provide and maintain technical training for staff and advise Village staff on engineering service improvements. C. Maintain necessary certifications and professional licenses for the services described herein. D. Provide technical assistance and direction; provide all clerical and administrative support, and equipment, resources and tools for services described. E. Assist with the preparation of bids and RFQ’s; participate in submittal review, assist with contract development and administration, including the monitoring of budget expenditures. F. Advise the Village on engineering and construction financing, including grant availability. Initiate and prepare applications for funding or grants as needed. G. Establish working relationships and coordinate with other public agencies and private utilities involving engineering matters affecting the Village. H. Maintain records and files concerning construction permits as directed. I. Maintain complete and accurate records and files as they relate to construction, permits, engineering, and other project-specific records. J. Serve in a grant administration capacity as assigned. K. Assist the Village with maintaining compliance with reporting requirements as required by outside agencies. L. Attend meetings at Village offices and be available by telephone or e-mail correspondence regarding engineering services questions or concerns. M. Attend Village Board, Planning and Zoning Commission, Stormwater Committee meetings as assigned.
