Services provided must include the following: Hold certification as a Peer Support Specialist Leverage lived experience to offer peer support, inspire hope, and foster connections with participants in Mental Health Court (MHC). Utilize trauma-informed approaches to ensure empathetic, respectful, and 3 effective interactions with participants. Cultivate empowering, supportive relationships with MHC participants, focusing on trust, respect, and recovery. Provide information on community and recovery-oriented resources to help participants build and maintain their recovery networks. Communicate effectively with peers, MHC team members, and clinicians to ensure coordinated support for participants. Build connections between participants and support entities, facilitating access to services that aid in recovery and reintegration.
