The A/E firm will be responsible for providing a variety of design services, including but not limited to: ● Architectural plans ● Structural plans ● Mechanical plans ● Electrical plans ● HVAC plans ● Plumbing plans ● Civil/site plans ● Landscape design SPECIFICATIONS: The Selected Offeror will be required to retain and be responsible for all basic engineering disciplines such as: ● Mechanical ● Electrical ● Plumbing ● Fire protection ● Landscape architecture ● Civil engineering ● Structural engineering ● Offeror MUST have extensive knowledge and experience with the Office of School Facilities (OSF) and K-12 facility new construction and renovations in South Carolina. ● Offeror is required to identify and select sub‐consultants; however, the District reserves the right to approve proposed sub‐consultants that will be associated with any future projects. The A/E firm may be required to provide a combination of these services for any given project. ● OSF Responsibilities: The Contractor is solely responsible for submitting scope of work/drawings to the OSF and passing all OSF inspections. ● Licensing and Permits: The Contractor is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary licenses, permits, and inspections required by the District, County, City, State of South Carolina, South Carolina Department of Education or other government entity. ● Materials: The Contractor shall supply all materials required to implement the agreed-upon work. ● Recordkeeping: The Contractor will keep records of all project expenditures. ● Bonding: The Contractor is responsible for providing performance and payment bonds as required by the District. Comprehensive Project Management in coordination with the District’s Facilities Office to include, but not limited to: ● Site investigation ● Site visits as required ● Preparation of schematic/final designs ● Provision of specifications ● Redi‐checks
