1.1 The fully shielded mobile PET/CT NHP System should have the following specifications or its equivalence: • The PET and CT modalities must be fully integrated into one unique system • A large bed of sufficient size to accept NHP (Rhesus macaque) up to 12 kg must be provided with the system. • Bore diameter: 26 cm minimum; must remain constant and not be reduced by shielding components. • Able to scan NHP (macaques) up to 12 kg • Multi-scans AFOV of 40 cm (PET and CT) 1.2 Software/User interface : • All tasks must be automated from the beginning of the first scan to the delivery of co-registered PET/CT images in DICOM format. • The animal cell must be automatically switched between PET and CT modalities via the User Interface • The interface must allow users to: - select PET and CT protocols, reconstruction protocols, - visualize progress on scans and reconstruction tasks - Main parameters for CT source - Position the animal bed precisely for the scans using both Lasers and 2D x-ray viewer
