Track Field Bollard Locations • Project Requirements: o Install a full-powered fiber solution for two NetPoint Bollard locations on either side of the Track field. • Conduit Installation: o Bore and install a 2" PVC conduit approximately 1,400 feet from the existing pull box near the IDF at the baseball field to each designated bollard location. • Handholes and Fiber Installation: o Install four 13"x17"x24" polymer concrete handholes. o Provide and install a 4-strand/2-conductor (16AWG)single-mode fiber from the IDF to each bollard location, terminating into a 10G HPoE media converter in an outdoor enclosure within the handholes. • Bollard Footings: o Construct an 18" wide concrete footing at each bollard location with a total height of 5' (3' below ground, 2' above ground). • Power Supply: o Install two 24VDC, 100W, 4A powersupplies within the baseball field IDF to power each bollard location. • Fiber Termination: o Terminate the fiber with LC connectors. • Additional Wireless Access Point: o Install a Category 6 cable and weather-proof, heat-resistant box for a new wireless access point at the baseball field. Carver Hall Bollard Location • Project Requirements: o Install a full-powered fibersolution for one NetPoint Bollard in front of Carver Hall. • Conduit Installation: o Bore and install a 2" PVC conduit approximately 200 feet from the existing pull box in front of Carver Hall to the bollard location. • Handholes and Fiber Installation: o Install two 13"x17"x24" polymer concrete handholes. o Provide and install a 4-strand/2-conductor (16AWG)single-mode fiber from the MDF to the bollard location, terminating into a 10G HPoE media converter in an outdoor enclosure within the handhole. • Bollard Footing: o Construct an 18" wide concrete footing at the bollard location with a total height of 5' (3' below ground, 2' above ground). • Power Supply: o Install one 24VDC, 100W, 4A powersupply within the MDF to powerthe bollard. • Fiber Termination: o Terminate the fiber with LC connectors
