The successful firm shall provide services including, but not limited to, the following: 1. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on current and emerging issues in health insurance, healthcare policy, and regulation at the state and local levels. Analyze proposed legislation and regulations for their potential impact on CIS. 2. Legislative Monitoring and Tracking: Track and monitor the progress of relevant bills, regulations, and executive orders. 2 Prepare regular reports outlining legislative activity and policy developments affecting CIS. 3. Advocacy and Lobbying: Advocate for or against proposed legislation and regulations that impact CIS. 4. Establish and maintain relationships with lawmakers, government officials, and other relevant stakeholders. Organize and attend meetings, briefings, and public hearings relevant to CIS’ interests. 5. Strategic Advice and Recommendations: Provide advice to CIS leadership team on legislative and regulatory strategies, priorities, and timing. Recommend actions to enhance the organization’s legislative effectiveness and improve relationships with policymakers.
