The intent of these specifications is to provide safe, dependable and durable Ford F-550 4WD crew cab trucks equipped with flatbeds, snow plows, and salt spreaders for use in the performance of operation and maintenance functions of the City of Topeka Public Works Department, Office of Transportation, Street Department Ford F-550 4WD crew cab trucks with flatbeds, snow plows and salt spreaders are to be delivered equipped with the following minimum specifications. The trucks shall be new, unused, not previously titled and shall be this year's currently produced manufacturer's standard product modified as required to comply with these specifications for which parts are stocked by the seller. Bidders are to provide adequate data for bid analysis. The City of Topeka reserves the right to waive minor technicalities under these specifications. Any items appearing in the manufacturer’s regular published base specifications furnished by the bidder are assumed to be included in the bidder’s proposal.
