The Town of Seymour is seeking proposals for the design and installation of ductless split heat pumps for approximately 5,000 square feet within the Seymour Community Center. The Town has plans to renovate the currently vacant space into office space. Proposed renovations are included in Attachment H. This is a turn-key project, and the contractor will be responsible for the engineering design, utility rebate incentive applications, installation and start up. The designed system should include a centralized control system, with online interface capability, which would allow for independent temperature regulation in different office areas. The contractor is responsible for all electrical and relay ties in as necessary. Power will be available from a newly installed 200-amp panel located on the second floor in a central location. The contractor is responsible for assisting with factory startup, testing, and system adjustment as recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Commissioning shall be performed as recommended by USGBC and ASHRAE. The contractor shall be responsible to provide an as-built of the system before final payment will be made. The design of the system must meet all local, state and federal building codes and requirements. The contractor shall provide a standard maintenance agreement along with pricing as outlined in the bid proposal form.
