Washington County Department of Facilities, Fleet and Park services is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide vacuum truck services to assist in the scheduled maintenance of the County's numerous vehicle wash bays, catch basins, oil water separators, grease interceptors, and water quality filtration vaults as well as occasional septic tank, abandoned oil tanks, etc. The liquids and solids collected and removed must be disposed of per DEQ regulations. 1. Scope of Work Required Services: A. Collect and remove solid waste and dispose of per DEQ regulations. B. Collect and remove liquid waste and dispose of per DEQ regulations. C. Contractor will utilize vacuum truck, and driver to remove liquids and solids from wash troughs, oil/water separator, and catch basins. D. Transport liquid and solid waste to an approved disposal facility. E. Provide County with a copy of all waste disposal receipts. F. Contractor’s equipment must meet the following minimum specifications: 1. A combination hydro-jetter and vacuum truck with a minimum ten-yard debris box that is capable of dumping and dewatering. 2. A vacuum only truck with a minimum 3000-gallon capacity minimum. 3. A truck solely authorized for sewage hauling and pumping. The units to be serviced are: A. Two Wash Troughs, to be serviced monthly, located at Walnut Street Center, 1400 SW Walnut Street, Hillsboro OR B. One 2700-gallon to be serviced every 7 to 8 weeks, at the Law Enforcement Center, 215 SW Adams Avenue, Hillsboro OR C. One 1000-gallon Grease Interceptor, to be serviced annually, at the Juvenile Services Building, 222 North First Avenue, Hillsboro, OR D. One 1000-gallon grease interceptor to be serviced as needed, located at the Westside Commons Event Center 873 NE 34th Ave. Hillsboro OR E. Two 500-gallon grease interceptors to be serviced as needed, located at the Westside Commons Fairgrounds Event Center 873 NE 34th Ave. Hillsboro OR F. One 175-gallon grease interceptor to be serviced on a quarterly basis located at the Public Services Building 155 N 1st Ave. Hillsboro OR G. Approximately 125 catch basins throughout the County. To be cleaned out once a year as directed or scheduled by Contract Administrator. 1. The County has approximately70 or so that are here on the main campus in the Downtown Hillsboro area andWalnut Street Center. The remaining are spread throughout all the County’ssatellite buildings.
