The North Dakota State Hospital is looking to purchase six medication carts: one mobile medication cart and five large medication carts. One mobile medication cart (CAPSA Careline XP Model or equivalent), which must include the following specifications: Minimum of 12 small attached bins, with optional dividers for medication storage, and include locking capability. Capability to connect to a laptop. Must be able to view laptop screen. Storage space for laptop, which must include space to fit at least the dimensions of the current laptop: Dimensions of current flat folded laptop are 14 inches x 9 ¼ inches x ¾ inches. Current screen display size is 15 ½ inches. Space for a standard keyboard. Wheels for easy movement that can lock in place when stationary. Space to mount a scanner so you can scan things without lifting scanner. Space for computer mouse. Workspace of at least 17 inches x 10 inches. Attached waste bin. Capability to charge laptop without removing from cart. Mounted bracket to hold Caviwipes. Easy to clean and follows standard infection control guidelines. Five large medication carts (CAPSA Avalo ACXL or equivalent), which must include the following specifications: Slide out writing surface. Wheels for easy movement that can lock in place when stationary. Capability to lock cart using key. Each cart keyed differently. Ability to duplicate key, if needed. Master key that can open all five carts. Cassette style storage with a minimum of 51 individual cassette style bins of a width approximately 5.5 inches each. At least one storage drawer with locking capability independent of whole cart locking mechanism of a size no smaller than 8 inches x 8inches, preferably using the same key as the whole cart. Drawer dividers for cassettes that can be inserted or removed, as needed. Removable clear mat for top of cart. Overall dimensions no larger than 48.5 inches wide x 24 inches deep x 43 inches high. Easy to clean and follows standard infection control guidelines.
