a. Remove existing gutters and downspouts. b. Remove existing ridge vents and skylights. In fill skylight openings with “in kind” metal panels. New panels to span 3 purlins. Cover vent openings with 18 gauge steel, cantilevered on to existing metal panels a min. of 12” on all sides. c. Trim metal panels at eave in preparation for installation of new wood nailers. d. Install wood nailers at roof perimeter to match final insulation thickness. e. Install loose laid factory bevel cut polyisocyanurate insulation. f. Install second layer of 1.5” polyisocyanurate insulation. g. Install ½” gypsum cover board. h. “Gang” screw all insulation components into existing metal roof panels. i. Install induction welded TPO roof membrane secured to purlins. j. Install new gutters and downspouts. k. Install new metal roof edges in compliance with ANSI-SPRI ES-1. l. After all work is complete, thoroughly clean roof surface of debris, and footprints.
