The City of Dallas is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified Offerors for a school zone speed camera detection system, RRPF pedestrian crossing system, and establishment of additional school zones on state and local roadways. The vendor will supply all documentation, design, studies, forms, applications, equipment, installation, program/programming, and permitting to establish a new school zone, RRFB pedestrian crossing, and speed camera detection system for four (4) school zones in the City of Dallas. The school zone traffic signal(s), RRFB pedestrian crossing, and speed camera system must be exclusively vendor and/or violator funded. All installation, maintenance, calibration, administration, and regulatory compliance costs are the responsibility of the vendor. The vendor may accomplish this through a revenue split per citation paid, or a fixed cost per citation paid. The program must be fully operational by October 2025.
