2. Project Objectives Replace and dispose of the existing emergency backup generator at the Sea Cliff Fire Department. Install a new 60KW gaseous generator or a suitable equivalent. Ensure the new generator complies with all applicable codes and regulations. Provide comprehensive training for fire department personnel on the operation and maintenance of the new generator. 3. Deliverables New 60KW gaseous emergency backup generator (or suitable equivalent) that is compatible with the existing transfer switch/es. Vibration mount with a 780 lb. load rating, 1" deflection, and seismic restraints (or suitable equivalent) 12-volt 800cca 1000mca 115Ah starting battery with dimensions of 10"x7"x10" (or suitable equivalent) Fabricated and install bottom plate for the generator. Upon removal of existing generator, the dunnage steel supports must be wire-brushed to remove as much of the accumulated rust as possible, and then immediately painted with a rust-inhibiting primer + 2 coats of good quality rust-inhibiting paint. Disconnection from existing systems and removal/disposal of the existing generator (approx. 2,000 lbs.) Installation of the new generator, including rigging, placement, and connection to existing systems. Startup services, including checks and top-off of fluids, battery and charger installation, commissioning of the engine heater, gas pressure testing, verification of electrical and mechanical installations, remote start wire termination, and test run of the generator. Load testing with transferred load. Customer orientation and training on generator operation and maintenance. Filing for the manufacturer's warranty on the generator
