Sealed bids will be received by the University of Massachusetts Lowell for Donahue Hall and Sheehy Hall Rapid Response Sprinkler Head Replacement Rebid. Provide and install all new FM Approved Rapid Response Heads for a 1 for 1 replacement of building original Rapid Response Sprinkler Heads on all floors of Donahue and Sheehy. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, environmental notifications and permits, transportation and equipment required to perform the scope of work for each project under this contract. Contractor Requirements: • Permits required with the City of Lowell • Responsible for all sheetrock work that may be required including but not limited to cutting, patching, & painting. New access panels will not be allowed. • FM Approved Sprinkler Heads. • Type to be replaced: Grinnell, Year 1988, Series, Model: F991, Temp Rating 160F, Fast Response • Contractor to turn over all escutcheons from sprinkler heads to owner. Heads to be disposed of by contractor. • Include 5 additional sprinkler heads for replacement than identified on the drawings. • Protecting floors, carpets and surroundings from dust, debris, water, etc. • Matching existing paint colors. • Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and proper work zone. • Responsible for Parking Fees • Removal of all replaced materials and trash. • Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll. • Cori Checks.
