The professional services required will include, but may not be limited to: Flooring needs: A. Approximately 85,000 sq feet of field protection for loads between 40 to 60 psi to provide protection against possible puncture from sharp objects such as chairs, tables, high heeled shoes, etc. a. Field is turf and needs to be protected b. It is the responsibility of the selected vendor to dispose of the material used to protect the field by arranging for dumpster or other means of disposal c. Temperature changes and gaps need to be considered as expanding takes place and guests in heels walk on the surface. B. Approximately 20,000 sq feet of heavy-duty field protection for loads of more than 60 psi. a. Flooring needs to support forklifts with balloon/turf tires and 9000 lbs. capacity. b. Flooring needs to support staging and heavy LED screens, Star Drive towers, and concrete footers (8000 lbs.). C. Field protection system must be safe, non-slip surface for pedestrians and offer ease of operation for wheelchairs. D. A staff member must be available 36 hours throughout the event to adjust and repair. E. Transition ramps must be installed at all entry and exit gates to the field. F. Transitions needed between heavy duty flooring and light duty flooring. G. Installation must be coordinated with load in and out with other vendors. a. Delivery: set up will begin an appropriate amount of time prior to stage arrival b. Strike: will begin the day following the final ceremony when the stage has been removed. H. Proper fire ratings need to be supplied I. Flooring, upon installation, needs to be clean, in good repair and free of debris. Flooring must be consistent throughout the field, with special attention given to the exposed area near the stage.
