The Housing Authority of the City of Hartford (HACH) is requesting proposals for lead-based paint (LBP) evaluations and lead risk assessment at all of its Federally Funded Developments in Hartford, CT to comply with HUD requirements. Services shall be in compliance with applicable laws and regulations of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State of Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP), and State of Connecticut Department of Public Health (CT DPH). Services shall also be conducted in accordance with the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Guidelines for Evaluation and Control of Lead-Based Paint Hazards in Housing. Services shall include performing LBP inspections at all HACH’s Federally Funded Developments in accordance with HUD Guidelines Chapter 7-Table 7.3, as well as performing a LBP Risk Assessment at all Federally Funded Developments in accordance with HUD Guidelines Chapter 5-Table 5.6. The LBP inspections will include soil sampling and dust wipe sampling.
