The City of Lawrenceville is requesting bids from licensed and qualified contractors to provide all labor and equipment in performing all work necessary for underground electrical work at various locations throughout the City of Lawrenceville. This is a demand service contract for labor and equipment to supplement the City of Lawrenceville’s Electric Department work force and will be used on an “as needed” basis. This is an on demand contract. Quantities will vary depending upon need. All material will be provided by the City of Lawrenceville. Dedicated capital projects will be required to be solicited separate from this agreement. III. SPECIFICATIONS A. Primary and secondary underground cable will range in size from #6 duplex to 1000 MCM. B. If extenuating situations occur that require an electric outage during underground installation, it shall be coordinated with the City of Lawrenceville Electric Department and the Customers impacted. C. Primary voltage will be 12470/7200 volts. D. Standard ECG construction specifications will be followed. E. Contractor shall complete work in such a manner that there is no damage to vehicles, plants, property, or people. F. Contractor will be responsible for contacting the Georgia 811 Center for locates. G. As directed by City Representative, Contractor shall remove debris from any private property, from any areas that pose a threat to the safety of people, that impede traffic, or that block walkways, roadways, rightof-ways, or public utilities. Install three phase terminating cabinet; Terminate PME Switchgear - 200 amp side; Directional Trench 6" Conduit; Dig open trench 48" deep - normal soil; Install 3C 1000 kCMIL primary cable in 6 inch conduit
